The Premise

Most founders don't have a marketing problem. They have a clarity problem.

You know you're capable of more. But you can't quite name what you stand for — and the brand follows the confusion. The market sees a competent company instead of an unmistakable one.

And underneath: a founder doing too much, deciding too late, hesitating in the rooms that matter most. Because brand confusion almost always starts as founder confusion. The two are inseparable at this size.

The Year of Purpose & Brand is built for that moment. Twelve months. Two coaches. One company turned from competent into unmistakable — and one founder turned from busy into deliberate.

This is not a workshop. Not a sprint. Not a deck. It is a year of structured commitment, with both of us in the room — week after week, quarter after quarter — until what you've built is true to who you are and what the market actually wants from you.

The Founder Is The Brand

We work on the company. And on you.

An owner-led company is, in any honest reading, a projection of the person at the top. Your hesitations become its hesitations. Your unanswered questions become its blurry positioning. Your unclaimed identity becomes its forgettable presence in the market.

So we work on both. Half the year is strategy and craft — positioning, brand, rollout. The other half is the work most agencies won't touch: founder identity, leadership voice, the patterns that keep showing up in your team, your hires, your boardrooms. The decisions you avoid. The version of yourself you've outgrown but haven't replaced.

There is a ceiling to how clear a brand can be if its founder isn't. We don't pretend otherwise.

By month twelve, expect

01

Decisions made faster

Because the criteria are clearer. You know what your company is for, so you know what isn't worth the meeting.

02

A leadership voice you trust

The way you communicate inside your company and outside it stops being two different people.

03

Patterns named, not repeated

The same problem keeps returning until you do. We surface what's structural — in the company and in you.

04

A company you stand behind

Not a brand built on what looked clever in 2019. One that reflects who you've actually become.

Calibrated To Where You Stand

The same twelve months. A different center of gravity.

A founder still wrestling with identity and one preparing for an exit don't need the same year. They need the same depth of work — applied to different things. Three stages. Three centers of gravity. The trajectory adapts to where you actually are.

01

Building

Catching up to your own ambition.

Past product–market fit · Founder still the bottleneck

Heaviest on personal coaching. The founder bottleneck is real at this stage — most of what's blocking the company is sitting in patterns the founder hasn't named yet. Brand and strategy flow from the inner work, not the other way around.

Center of gravity: founder

02

Scaling

The company has fit. It needs reach.

Proven model · Reach is the constraint

Personal and brand work in balance — and this is where the Studio 7D distribution network becomes a direct lever. Thirteen million followers across YouTube and TikTok, already engaged, already ours. We don't rent reach for our clients. We own it.

Center of gravity: distribution

03

Transitioning

Deciding what comes next.

Mature company · A defining decision ahead

Personal work meets strategic decisions: stay, scale, sell, or step back. Jeroen's M&A and legal background becomes central. We position the brand for what's coming — a strategic acquisition, succession, or simply a more deliberate next decade.

Center of gravity: exit strategy

During intake, we discuss honestly which stage you're in — and where the work should land. Some founders span two stages. We adapt accordingly.

The Twelve-Month Arc

Four phases. One company, rebuilt from the ground up.

01Months 1–2

Foundation

A two-day immersive — together. We work on the founder before we work on the company. Your story, your patterns, what you've been hiding behind, what the company is actually for. From that, a positioning audit: who you are, who you're not, and where the gap between them lives.

02Months 3–5

Brand

Identity, voice, naming, messaging architecture, visual direction. Built on the foundation from phase one — not on trends or competitor reflexes.

03Months 6–8

Strategy

Marketing strategy, content pillars, channel mix, rollout plan. Sharp enough to act on Monday morning, flexible enough to learn from once it meets reality.

04Months 9–12

Rollout & Refine

Live execution with quarterly reviews. We pressure-test what's working and what isn't. The year ends with a brand audit and a written blueprint for the next twelve months — yours to keep, with or without us.

The Two Coaches

You don't get one of us. You get the room.

Corinne

Marketing · Branding · Personal development

Co-founder of Studio 7D and the 7DIMENSIONS network. Two decades building brands and audiences across YouTube, TikTok, and direct-to-consumer commerce. Brings the marketer's eye and the network behind it — and the kind of hard questions that move a founder from busy to deliberate.

Jeroen

Strategy · M&A · Leadership sparring

Twenty years as an entrepreneur. Former lawyer. M&A advisor. Brings the founder's instinct, the strategist's discipline, and the kind of legal-strategic scrutiny that catches problems — in the company and in the way you lead it — before they cost money.

The combination is the product. Every meeting, every quarter, the whole year — both of us in the room.

For you if

  • You're past survival mode and ready for the next chapter.
  • You're ready to commit to a year, not a quarter.
  • You're willing to do the personal work, not just the strategic work.
  • You're open to having your assumptions challenged.
  • You want depth, not speed.
  • You'd rather get it right than get it fast.

Not for you if

  • You're looking for a quick fix.
  • You think branding is just a logo.
  • You think personal development is for someone else.
  • You want consultants to do the thinking for you.
  • You're not willing to be in the room.

2 Coaches in the room

A few questions, answered honestly.

Is this coaching, or is this brand work?

It's both. Inseparably. We've found that founders at this size who don't grow alongside their company end up bottlenecking it. So we work on the brand and on the leader behind it — not as separate tracks, but as one. If you want a pure branding agency, we're not it. If you want pure coaching, we're not that either.

What if I'm closer to selling than scaling?

Then the trajectory leans into stage three. Jeroen's M&A and legal background takes a bigger seat. We position the brand and the founder for what's coming — whether that's a strategic acquisition, a succession path, or simply a more deliberate next chapter. The personal work doesn't disappear; it just sits next to harder strategic questions.

Can we use the Studio 7D distribution network?

If you're in stage two — yes, that's where it makes the most sense. Our network of 13 million followers across YouTube and TikTok is a real lever for companies that have product–market fit but need reach. It's not bolted on as an extra; it becomes part of the rollout. For stage one and stage three founders, the network is rarely the right tool — and we'll tell you that.

Can we do a shorter version?

No. The depth comes from the time. Shorter trajectories exist with other agencies; they are not what we do.

Do you work remotely?

The two-day foundation is in person, in the Netherlands. Everything else is hybrid — we travel for quarterly reviews and key milestones; the rest is video and async.

What if it's not working halfway through?

There's a structured checkpoint at month six. If either side concludes the fit isn't there, we pause and refund the unused portion. We've never had to.

Is the Studio 7D distribution network included?

No. The network is a separate scope when relevant. Many clients don't need it; some do. We discuss it during intake.

When does the next cohort start?

Trajectories begin rolling throughout the year as spots open. Intake calls are scheduled within five business days of application.
